Forward Talk eliminates conversational debt
Teams that tackle issues head-on move faster and make decisions that stick.
Most teams don’t get there. Not because people do not care, but because they avoid the conversations that matter. Each avoided issue adds to the pile. That pile has a name: conversational debt. Like financial debt, it compounds.
Join the Forward Talk Program and you'll:
Why teams get stuck — and the way out
Teams don’t get stuck because they lack talent. They get stuck because smart, capable people stop speaking up. They think nothing will change. And leaders often don’t notice until it’s too late.
Three patterns keep conversations stuck:
Avoidance — Issues go unspoken, so the same problems resurface. Silence reinforces avoidance.
Blame — The focus stays on the past and who's at fault instead of solving real issues.
Groupthink — People conform to be "a team player." Safe ideas win, so bold ideas never get approved.
Forward Talk helps teams break all three patterns by turning unspoken tension into honest, future-focused conversations that lead to real decisions and clear action.
Who Should Attend?
The Forward Talk Program is ideal for team leaders, senior executives, organizational development pros, startup founders, and consultants – everyone who cares about building a better team or company culture by improving the quality of their conversations.
Program details:
3 live sessions × 2 hours | Recorded | Pre-work included | Breakout discussions | Exclusive tools & follow-up materials | Global cohort

Session 1: From Backward Talk to Forward Talk
Break free from the three conversational patterns that get teams stuck: Avoidance, Blame, and Groupthink. Spot Conversational Debt early and prevent it from accumulating. Break the cycle by turning Backward Talk into Forward Talk through conversational reframes.
Session 2: Regain Conversational Agency
Stop surrendering your voice to conformity and start shaping outcomes. Apply the CPR model — courage, perspective, and responsibility — to move team conversations from passive avoidance to true commitment and ownership.
Session 3: Move Conversations Forward
Turn insight into action with both quick interventions and longer-term strategies. Learn tools and activities to address real conversations, prevent conversational debt, and build momentum. Leave with a clear plan and practical methods to keep conversations moving forward.
By the end of the program, you'll be able to:
Real situations, not case studies: Every exercise uses real conversations and situations.
Three sessions, not one long day: You practice between sessions, notice what happens, and bring it back.
Small cohort. Direct feedback: Honest, specific input from peers facing the same challenges — and from the facilitator.
Simple to learn. Built to use immediately: The Forward Talk framework is clear and practical. You'll be able to implement it right away.
You leave with something concrete: Actionable insights and tools that work for your team.

Small cohorts with breakout sessions for deeper learning

Is the Forward Talk program live?
Yes. All sessions are live and interactive. Can't make one? Every session is recorded and available to registered participants.

How long is each session?
Each session is two hours. The program runs across three weeks, giving you time to practice between sessions.

What's covered?
Session 1 focuses on identifying your team's conversational patterns and understanding conversational debt. Session 2 builds the courage, perspective, and ownership to address the conversations you've been avoiding. Session 3 is about turning that into action — you'll leave with a real conversation planned and ready to have.

Who is this for?
Team leaders, managers, HR and people & culture professionals, OD consultants, facilitators, and coaches. Anyone responsible for the quality of conversations in their team or organization.

Do I need to have read the book or have prior experience?
Neither is required. That said, we recommend getting the book — we reference it throughout the sessions and it's a great companion for the work. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy.

Do I need to prepare anything?
Yes. Each session includes pre-work — a short reading or video — to help you get the most out of the live time together.

How big is the cohort?
Cohorts are kept small by design — so you get real feedback, not a passive experience. Participants join from diverse industries and organizations around the world.

Are tickets refundable?
Due to limited cohort size, tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to a colleague — not for resale.
